Have you ever been in a situation with your child when they did or said something and you just didn't understand where they were coming from? Does it seem like your child has been possessed by some alien that doesn't speak the same language as you? Just like John Gray's "Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus", kids have a different language and as a parent if you don't understand that language you could be feeling frustrated and angry. In order to understand the thoughts and feelings of kids you have to first understand your thoughts and feelings. Once you have an awareness of where you are starting off with your thoughts and feelings then you will be able to better understand how best to relate to your child. The Energy Leadership Index can show you how you are really showing up in life and once you understand that you can understand better how you are relating to your kids. The assessment takes 30 minutes to an hour and the debrief takes about an hour and a half. This is a one time session to go over the assessment and explore if working one on one might help you make a difference in the way you and your child relate to one another.
